

Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-based approach to healing that helps you tune into and release stress that gets stuck in the body. It’s a gentle, supportive way to work with the nervous system—especially when you're feeling overwhelmed or stuck. Through SE, you’ll learn to notice and respond to physical sensations in a way that helps your body settle and return to a sense of balance. It’s especially helpful for stress, since so many of its effects show up physically.
My Story with Somatic Experiencing
I found Somatic Experiencing (SE) when I realized that talk therapy wasn’t reaching the stress I was carrying in my body. SE helped me slow down, tune into physical sensations, and release tension I didn’t even know I was holding. Over time, I started to feel more grounded and present, less reactive, and more resilient. This work taught me that healing doesn’t always come through words, but through reconnecting with the body in a safe, supportive way.
